Silicon Electronics and
Integrated Nanomaterials

SEIN-Group

SEIN Laboratory is dedicated to advancing logic and memory semiconductor technologies through research based on silicon CMOS, while strategically integrating emerging nanomaterials—such as ferroelectrics, oxide semiconductors, and two-dimensional materials—into established silicon platforms. Furthermore, by innovating beyond the conventional CMOS paradigm, we aim to further develop semiconductor technology for neuromorphic computing, advanced sensor applications, and novel energy storage and harvesting solutions.

About Us

Our research goal is inspired by Martin Heidegger’s philosophical concept of Sein [zaɪn] the German term for “Being”—to emphasize the broader significance of semiconductor advancements in driving human progress. Through cutting-edge device engineering, SEIN Laboratory strives to tackle critical challenges such as the global energy crisis and resource scarcity, ultimately fostering sustainable development and collective well-being.
